They have finally arrived!

Oct. 31, Joven and I headed to Narita Airport Terminal 2. Just in Time a Yokosuka line bound to Naruto was scheduled at 6:10 and we met at 6pm. We decided to try the Green Car. Here in Japan you can reserve your seats in the local train by having an additional charge from your normal fare. In our case we just added Y750. Actually it was not so crowded that time,we just wanted to experience riding one. A girl with electronic device in one hand and with baskets of goods in the other, greeted us after we seated. We intinctively gave her our Suica but she taught us that we will just tap it on the ceiling and the light will turn green from default red, which means we have taken the seats.

From the inside you cannot hear any noise from the outside, even the announcer that says "Doa ga shimarimasu" (The door is now closing) cannot be heard. It was a long journey though but good thing we had our gadgets with us :D. First thing we did is to take some pictures. Then around Sakura, we noticed that we are the only persons in our car. Joven decided to create a video out of boredom, which I eventually uploaded even if he didnt want me to. You see I'm very proud of his unique talents, he can dance uncontrollably and mimic voices of other nationality.=D>
Well, see it for your selves, I will upload the other one if Jovs will be free to give me the copy

Then we arrived in Narita Airport Terminal 2 at 8pm. PAL flight PR432 was delayed for 25mins and so we waited and waited. Good thing the airport has a WIFI connection, I was able to made myself busy with a very fast connection to the net. Then finally, our long wait was over.

The first word that I ever heard from Joven's nephew, Monisop (Not his real name, but the name he coined for himself) was "Joooven"! We cannot believe it!. Moments prior to their arrival I asked Joven, if he thinks his nephew can still recognize him and he answered maybe NOT but he stand corrected. Loud and clear his nephew uttered his name. I never imagined he will be so talkative. The last time I saw him, he can barely say a word. But now he can say "Chap chap" (Joven's brother) and Jessa(his nanny) over and over again and "Tinapay", "Labas tau" and so many others very clearly.
Then I greeted ate Cheryl, who is now by the way, very slimmed down and Joven's pretty mom. Im so happy to see them, it's like seeing my own family. Then Ate Cheryl tried Joven's headdress from Disneyland's. She really like it, it was so funny.=))

We rode the bus Limousine on our way to Yokohama, One thing I learned was always asked for the coupon, they will not offer it, you have to asked for it so you could get discount. Then ate Cheryl told us that it was Monisop's first bus experience.

He never rode a bus before in Manila, only Taxi or shuttle. So you can imagine how ecstatic he is. And then she gave me her omiyage, a beautiful, unconventional edible bouquet of Rose Pastillas. Who wouldnt love it! I was so touched and very happy.

Around 12pm we arrived in Yokohama, Joven's mom asked me, if it really take us that long going to the office, I think she was surprised about how long the trip was. But I said "it's not that long, only the airport was just situated very far". True enough, I remember on my first trip here, I wonder if all the places are as secluded as Narita airport.
When I bid goodbye to them on the Tokaido Ticket entance, they were not expecting that I would be transferring to another train, they thought Joven and I live next to each other. Haha! I told them that our company really planned to separate our dorm. I would like to think that because Joven's place is not suitable for girls because it is very far away from the eki(station).I wonder what their impressions would be after a long walk in Totsuka going to Jov's dorm:D I hope they wont complain much!
I'm very happy that the waiting was over. I was able to see the beaming face of Jovs upon seeing his family. Wait till you see the vid of how he transformed his filthy:P dorm into a cozy room. This only shows how he value his mom and sis. What a proud gf I am! A good son and brother sounds a very promising husband to me!/hmm

My Japanese Girl Friend

I never had a true Japanese girl friend until I met Michi-chan. She was our assistant in SE. Assistant is like an HR, who assists employees. The first time I saw her was during our department Meeting. At first glance, she's just a simple Japanese lady, not the usual one with heavy make-up and dress-to-kill get-up. But when we were introduced by Tokutake San, during our Nomikai (Drinking Party) when we celebrated finishing an nth version of a certain specification, that's when I realize she's more than that meets the eye. She was very kind and looks prettier and prettier when you got the chance to talk to her. I remember asking her "Is your job very hard coz you have to deal with everyone's problem?" and she said "Yes it is, but Isn't it nice to know how important are you to other people?" and I commend her positive attitude for that. I was even surprised when she whispered to me to guess the price of her dress that night and revealed to me a surprising price of only Y1800 coz she bought it on sale.

Last Christmas we were exchanging stories about our vacation and I found out that she is also a great biker. Not an ordinary Mamachari biker but a sporty one. She biked from Tokyo to her hometown somewhere in the Miyagi Prefecture.

And here is a snippet of her email to me

"Thank you very much your kindly concern about my trip. Your mail are excitement to me. That was so so soooo long way home, But fantastic and joyful journey!!

My score are following.

Total Distance : 371km
Av. Speed : 13km
Top Speed : 46km/h
Time : 28h of 3days"

Unbelievable isnt it? She told me that her mom told her not to do that crazy trip again. BTW, its freezing 4-10 degrees outside when she did that journey.

After that party, we got a chance to go out for sometime with Filipino friends. The first one is when Bates invited her on our trip to Hakone with Sawayama-san. We really enjoyed having her and S-san's company in this trip. They are really outgoing, easy to get along with and very down to earth.

I remember we rode on the ropeway cable car and on our descent to the sulfur pit, you can barely hear one's voice because we are all laughing and teasing each other but then we just heard a loud "wooaaaahhhh woaahhhh ahhh" and we were puzzled from whom did it come from, and were very surprised to know that it was Michi-san in her very scared self, shouting so loudly in one corner and even more when our not-so-nice :D friends tried to shout "waaa!! kowai kowai (scary scary)"./blush

Then we got the next chance to be with her, when she invited us to attend a teaching demo of her friend Tomoe-san. Actually it was her guy friend who asked her to invite English speaking friends (ehem!) to evaluate the teacher Tomoe san, (actually a Law student) in their newly opened English school. We really had fun with the games they prepared for us. We also met, the cute petite bestfriend of Michi, Kasumi san. We were mesmerize by her very gentle charming beauty, like the charm of a Geisha. After the demo, we strolled in the near Rikugien Garden. We shared stories and laughter during the stroll

Then one day, she told me that she will be leaving SE soon. I was so sad, I almost cried but hold my tears back for I don't want her to feel sad too. Tokutake-san arranged a Yakiniku(Grilled meat) party then in Kawasaki last Oct.23. We spoke of good times, plans and unrevealed love life. We prepared a flower bouquet as a present and she bursted into tears, "happy tears", she said. We will really miss her. The night ended and when we parted ways, I told her there is no saying goodbye yet /no, but just see you soon!/hihi

Packet Hodai (Packet Unlimited) To the Max

I bought an IPhone 3 days ago, and I vowed that I will avoid surfing coz I don't want my bill to blow up. Anyway, to make the story short, I did not open my IPhone for 2 days, I only opened it last night and download free offline apps mostly for my Reviewer for JLPT and which I also highly recommend in order of preference, 1st being the best Jekana, JLPT Study 4, KOTOBA, Kanji Sensei, And some other non-Japanese related Apps, Bible Verses, Love Qoutes, Wisdom of Ages, facebook, Dictionary.com etc.. Mga kachipanggahan chuva ever... So the real thing is.. I dont want to use Packet Hodai.. I will minimize my usage, coz I dont want to pay a surprising bill on the 10th.. But to my dismay, after 48mins of usage, I already receive 2MB, which is past my min limit to pay only Y1029 (for packet only)

Huhu!!! how come, but I realize, its not an IPhone if I wont maximize the power of it. So "packet hodai kung packet hodai na ito, malugi na cla kung malugi, access to the max!!" And besides, its still cheap as my friend said compared to other countries. And there's a big difference if you will control yourself to a min amount of MB usage, than to just pay the fixed amount and you can do anything you want, anywhere anytime... =) For those of you who like to know/bookmark the English website of Softbank, here is it SOFTBANK WEBSITE

I say GoodBye. you say Hello!

Last Thursday, I tried to sell my three precious possessions. My YA-MAN NHDS-1 Photo ION plus National EH2513 Pore suction and my IPod Touch. For the beauty gadgets, i do not have time to use it. I started to confirm that these things are purely wants not needs so I decided to sell it in GaijinPot. For my Ipod Touch, I really do not want to sell it. I tried to sell it in the same site but who will buy a one year old IPod touch for a price of Y18k whereareas the market is selling it at Y19k brand new. Two responded with my post, both of them are buying it at Y10k and I said "No way!" The thing is, I really don't want to sell it anyway. So I decided to remove my post.
What compels me to sell these things is because I am saying hello to my new gadget. Actually this isn't the usual "want" thing, this is both a "want" and a "need".

I am paying my cellphone bill for Y2k every month and I will just add Y1k plus and I now have an IPod Touch and a Phone, hence the IPhone! =P...

I also got this cute strap for free. and to add to that I was able to apply for Softbank credit card at no cost, it even doesn't have any annual fee. Great!
What will happened then to my old stuff? I decided to sell my beauty gadget to Joven for it will be embraced by his mom and sister. and the Touch will go to my kuya as omiyage(pasalubong!) this Christmas.
